This piece had so much inspiration from the intricate stones we collected on our journeys. I often take found objects and use them in my pieces, but this time, I wanted to challenge myself to replicate the beauty I found on earth using another natural material. The hag stone (one with a hole) is a stone with a naturally occurring hole that is believed to be a powerful source of protection and spiritual growth. Hag stones have long been valued in many cultures around the world for their spiritual meaning and uses. They are thought to possess the power to ward off evil spirits and have been used for centuries to keep people safe from harm.
