Introducing "Tatanka" to my new collection. Like many of my pieces, this one came to life organically. I start by laying down paint, then let the paint guide me. The bison, a symbol of resilience and strength, holds profound meaning for me. As I created this piece, I thought about the deep connection Native Americans had with the bison and how it sustained their ancestors. Its ability to weather the storms and provide so much inspired this artwork deeply.
